Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of D-Day: CAF Airbase Georgia's 2024 Tour

Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of D-Day

Welcome to a journey through time and skies! This year, the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Airbase Georgia is taking us on an unforgettable adventure, celebrating the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.

The warmer weather is not just bringing blossoms but also a unique fleet of World War II-era warbirds out of the hangar for a busy season of airshows and events.

D-Day, the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944, was a turning point in World War II. It marked the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany. The bravery and sacrifice of those who participated in this historic event continue to inspire us, and CAF Airbase Georgia is dedicated to honoring their legacy in this year's tour.
