Classic Aero-TV: What Does It Take? Alan Klapmeier's Thoughts On GA Value

One of GA's Greatest Innovators Opines On What GA Is REALLY All About

Making something successful in the aviation world is quite an undertaking... especially after several years of bad economy, bad press and atrocious politics.

BUT... if there is ANYONE better to talk about the value proposition of GA than Alan Klapmeier, we're not familiar with them. Alan is the real deal... having built up a number of successful businesses (including doing the lion's share of the work that made Cirrus one of the few GA success stories in recent memory) and turned both sport and general aviation on its ear more than once.

At Oshkosh 2012, as ANN's Jim Campbell and Alan discussed the potential of transforming the general aviation industry from what certainly appears to be an outdated and failing business model, we thought it might be interesting to hear Alan's thoughts on what is really required to be a success in the GA marketplace... and why.

Alan, never at a loss for words on one of this favorite subjects gave us some great insights, as a result. Join ANN and Kestrel Aircraft's Alan Klapmeier for an illuminating discussion of this pivotal topic.
