Rick Stine Named Senior VP Of New StandardAero Components Sector

Company Says Restructuring Underscores Commitment To Market

Rick Stine (pictured) has been named Senior Vice President of StandardAero's Components Sector in Cincinnati, Ohio StandardAero, the company said in a news release Monday. Components is a newly established sector with the company's array of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in six key industry sectors consisting of Airlines & Fleets, Associated Air Center, Business Aviation, Government & Military, Helicopters and Energy, and with today's announcement, Components.

Stine comes to StandardAero from HEICO Corporation where he was Senior Vice President, Technical Operations. In this role, Stine was responsible for the technical operations of the aerospace companies within HEICO Aerospace.

"Today's announcement marks an exciting event in the evolution of our overall corporate aviation MRO strategy and reflects our commitment to becoming a leader in the components marketplace," said Rob Mionis, President & CEO, StandardAero. "By restructuring our Components business as a standalone sector and supporting its growth with a dedicated, focused, highly qualified leadership team, we are demonstrating our long-term commitment towards success in the components industry. Our ability to attract a leader of his caliber speaks volumes about the quality of our company and our long-term potential for success."

Prior to HEICO, Stine spent 12 years at General Electric Aircraft Engines where he served in increasingly responsible roles, including team leader and design engineer for advanced exhaust systems and hot section components for the Advanced Tactical Fighter demonstrator program as well as civil aviation programs.  While at GE, he led a NASA industry team consisting of members from Pratt and Whitney, Boeing, NASA, and GE Aircraft Engines.

Stine holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University, a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science in Management from Purdue University.

StandardAero purchased TSS Aviation, its Cincinnati, Ohio, Components business, in 2007.
