A spokesman for the U.K.'s Civil Aviation Authority says the agency is investigating a possible illegal maneuver allegedly performed by the crew of the last known flying example of a Vulcan bomber.

The BBC reports that the spokesman said that the maneuver, which was captured in video by an amateur photographer on October 4, "did not occur during an air display. Although not normally allowed under its current permissions to fly, a roll is a benign maneuver and the Vulcan's maintenance support organization has confirmed that the aircraft is safe to fly." A former vendor of for Prioria Robotics has filed a lawsuit against the UAV maker, saying it has bilked the U.S. government out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. The suit accuses Prioria of misrepresenting specs of the Maveric microdrone to the military and other government agencies, and sold refurbished units as new in the contract. Whether for business or recreational flying, maintaining instrument proficiency and staying up-to-date on issues dealing with instrument flying can be a challenge. Now, EAA and IMC Clubs have joined to make instrument flying safe. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
