It Helps To Have 'Powerful' Friends
Teledyne Continental Motors announces their participation at
Cirrus Owners and Pilots Migration 8. You can find Continental
Motors located in booth #105 next to Cirrus. Bill Ross, Customer
Service Manager will be available to address customer service and
technical questions.
In addition, Bill will be giving a presentation entitled
"Continental Engine Technologies" Friday, June 18, from 3:50 p.m. -
4:50 p.m. in room # 306 of the Dayton Convention Center. You can
expect to hear about Engine Operation and Engine Maintenance;
Product Support, Technical Data and Technical Assistance;
Alternative Fuels, and new Continental products. Bill will also be
available to answer questions afterward at TCM's booth #105.
TCM is proud to partner with Cirrus by providing the ALL
Continental solution for their Cirrus SR22 Turbo... TCM's powerful
TSIO550K. This engine is quieter, more powerful, lighter and ready
for the uncertain future of GA 100 LL. The TSIO550K is TCM's answer
to what a Cirrus Pilot needs NOW.
Just ask Mr. Regis Masson from Paris France. He recently flew
his SR22 across the North Atlantic from Duluth to Paris in 22
hours. "My Cirrus aircraft powered by the TSIO550K climbed like a
rocket to 25,000 feet where I spent more than half of the trip
time. It was a very good experience" stated Mr. Masson. Cirrus and
TCM anticipate many more testimonials like this one.
The TSIO550K is rated at 315 horsepower at 2500 rpm,
twin-intercooled, cross-flow cylinder design and balanced induction
system for improved performance and efficiency. TBO is 2000
hours.
The TSIO550K is launching June of 2010 on the new SR22T. TCM is
now accepting order information for deliveries starting in January
of 2011.
