Archer Unveils Miami Air Taxi Network Plans

Features Partnerships With Related Ross, Magic City, And Hard Rock Stadium

Archer Aviation announced its plans for the development of an air taxi network in the Miami metropolitan area that will transform how people move across the rapidly-growing region.

Archer’s goal is to connect population and business centers across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach using 10-20 minute flights as a new safe and efficient mobility mode to avoid ground-based traffic.

The network will also offer efficient options to travel between the region’s three major international airports — Miami International (MIA), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) and Palm Beach International (PBI), as well as several general aviation airports in the area.

Archer is working with several infrastructure and real estate partners to stand up new vertiports and refit existing helipads to accommodate the company’s Archer eVTOL aircraft.

Partners include:

  • Related Ross will develop a vertiport in its West Palm Beach downtown development and create a new premium mobility hub in the area’s fastest growing commercial center;
  • Dragon Global’s Magic City Innovation District in Miami’s Little Haiti plans to build a vertiport site to bring air taxis to the city’s mixed-use technology and innovation communities;
  • Both Hard Rock Stadium, a premier sports and entertainment facility, and Apogee Golf Club, one of the country’s most prestigious golf clubs, have existing heliports that will be retrofitted with equipment and infrastructure to accommodate electric operations to enable air taxi service.

Francis Suarez, Mayor of Miami, explained, “Miami has never been afraid to bet on the future. We’re a city that attracts visionaries, embraces breakthrough technology, and turns bold ideas into real impact. For years, I’ve worked with Archer as they’ve advanced a vision for an air-taxi network that will elevate Miami’s position as a global capital for innovation and mobility. What they’re building isn’t just transformational transportation, it embodies the Miami mindset: we lead, we innovate, and we redefine what’s possible.”
