New Flight Planning Facility at Sporty's

Development continues at Clermont County/Sporty's Airport with an all-new Flight Planning Facility located on the north side of the airport.

This facility was built to support the hangar tenants and guests on that side of the field, along with the residents of Sandy's Farm Residential Airpark. The Flight Planning Facility has WSI PilotBrief weather, a lounge and restrooms.

There are currently 93 T-hangar units and community hangar space for another 49 aircraft. Seventeen additional T-hangars will be built by fall 2006 for a total of 110 T-hangars.

"This new facility will make flight planning more convenient for the pilots who base their aircraft on the opposite side of the field from the FBO, and will also serve as a comfortable waiting area for passengers," said Eastern Cincinnati Aviation President Chuck Gallagher.
