VisionSafe Promotes Director Of Sales Kurt Poruks To Vice President

Names Two New Executives To Their Sales Team

VisionSafe Corporation has announced changes to the company to bring further awareness in promoting safety practices within the aerospace industry. VisionSafe proudly announces the promotion of Kurt Poruks to Vice President of Global Sales. He will oversee all aspects of sales, marketing and training. He will continue to further develop his working relationships with global commercial passenger and cargo operations. Since joining the company in 2001, Mr. Poruks has held several pivotal roles.

“Kurt has been a key member of our sales team over the years and has established long-term relationships with our existing customers. He has successfully delivered safety solutions to government agencies and to the leading global express transportation company, FedEx.” said Walter Horsting, Senior Executive vice president, VisionSafe. “He holds a deep knowledge of our product and will be a great mentor to our new sales team.”

VisionSafe also announced the appointment of Michael Hines as Director of Sales for Part 121 and Chris Skurat as Director of Sales for Business Aviation. With his vast experience and insight, Michael Hines looks to increase the industry’s focus on setting the bar high in improving the safety standards within aviation.

A seasoned professional with more than 20 years of Part 121 management experience, Michael has held several high-profile positions during his career, most recently, President for Evergreen International Aviation. He has been a member of International Airline Technical Pool, Helicopter Association International, International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.

Chris Skurat is taking on the role of Director of Sales for Business Aviation. He will be the liaison for all business aviation, including OEMs, charter/management fleets, maintenance providers and aircraft sales professionals to help support their customer aircraft safety recommendations.

Chris is an accomplished industry professional with more than 24 years of sales and customer service. During his tenure at AMSTAT, he was the industry’s most recognized executive in providing business aviation market intelligence. He is an active member in the business aviation community and has served on various committees within the National Aircraft Finance Association, International Aircraft Dealers Association and HAI Finance and Leasing Committee.

Kurt, Michael and Chris are accomplished and seasoned professionals with proven results,” said Walter Horsting, Senior Executive vice pPresident, VisionSafe. “With their experience and reputation in the industry, they will help facilitate our customers in obtaining the only solution available when it comes to dense smoke in the cockpit.”
