Virginia's Innovative "Aviation Ambassador Awards" Program

Today, ANN's Paul Plack talks with Betty Wilson, who administers the Virginia Aviation Ambassador Awards program. While distribution of prizes is currently suspended, the program still encourages pilots to visit all 66 public use airports in the commonwealth, and document their visits with special stamps in a passport-style booklet. The awards, including the leather flight jackets earned so far by 137 pilots, are expected to resume when funding allows.
