Vita Inclinata Acquires Air Rescue System

Pulling Together

Denver-based Vita Inclinata Technologies, an aerospace concern specializing in autonomous systems for helicopter hoisting and sling operations, has acquired Air Rescue Systems (ARS), an Oregon-based provider of helicopter response, training and equipment products.

Over more than twenty-years, Air Rescue Systems has built and sustained a favorable reputation for the products and services it supplies to military, emergency response, and law-enforcement customers worldwide.

By virtue of their collective expertise and experience, Vita Aerospace (the specialized aerospace division of Vita Inclinata Technologies) and Air Rescue Systems will provide comprehensive training techniques and facilities, cutting-edge equipment, and innovative technologies to a broader range of organizations operating in emergency response environments. By partnering, the two companies are better able to equip a larger number of customers with tools and skills essential to the execution of successful rotorcraft missions.

ARS offers custom, detail-oriented courses germane to advanced helicopter operations (such as Hoist, Short Haul, Rappel, Fast Rope, Medical/Rescue, and Precision Long Line & Skid Operations) for multiple operation types and locations. ARS’s courses are tailored to mission-specific requirements. Moreover, the equipment produced by the company is purpose-designed to meet real-world requirements and built to the highest standards via the latest industrial technologies and processes.

Numerous ARS products, to include the company’s Quick-Connect Air-Rescue Vest, have been granted airworthiness approvals by the US Army, Navy, and Marine Corps.

Vita Aerospace manufactures the patented and proprietary Vita Rescue System/Litter Attachment, a precise and dynamic solution for hoist operations. Measuring over one-thousand data-points per-second, the system detects real-time movement and adjusts loads with high-powered fans, thereby eliminating rotation, swaying, and other conditions likely to occasion accidental injuries or fatalities. The system facilitates accelerated extractions of victims and elimination of preventable hoist operation accidents.

Vita Inclinata Technologies co-founder and CEO Caleb Carr stated: "We are honored to partner with Air Rescue Systems to expand our reach and impact in the emergency response landscape. This partnership enables us to provide best-in-class and comprehensive solutions needed to address the challenges of emergency situations. Together, we will drive innovation and empower teams worldwide to save lives and protect communities."

Air Rescue Systems president Bob Cockell echoed Mr. Carr’s sentiments, setting forth: “I am thrilled to join forces with Vita Aerospace, combining our resources and expertise to create a larger safety ecosystem for the emergency response community. Together, we aim to provide Total Team Solutions for training and equipment to an even greater number of organizations and markets, ensuring enhanced safety and effectiveness in critical missions.”
