AvFab King Air Aft Jump Seat Kit Approved For Installation In Brazil

Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has received Brazilian approval for the installation of their Aft Jump Seat Kit (STC #SAOO635WI) for the King Air 100, 200, and 300.

The Brazilian Ministry of Defense Issued a "Certificado De Homologacao Suplementar De Tipo" (CHST) #2005S12-02, dated December 14, 2005, authorizing the installation of the AvFab PMA'd kit in accordance with their STC and Drawing Package.

AvFab's Aft Jump Seats are directly interchangeable with OEM kits and hardware, although none are required (maybe "although no factory parts are required").

The Kit includes seats, installation parts and hardware, occupant restraint system, attachment feet, oxygen drop down system, installation instructions, etc., and is delivered in "green" condition, without upholstery.

The seats improve the King Air's cabin utility at a very attractive price, without extra-long lead times, as AvFab's lead times are about two weeks traditionally.

"There are a lot of King Airs throughout Brazil that can greatly benefit from this installation," stated Jeff Lowe of AvFab.

"We are excited that we can now offer this versatile product to this market with a CHST, the Brazilian equivalent to our STC."

AvFab not only provides FAA-PMA custom aircraft seating and cabin enhancements with STC approvals, but it is also an inspection, repair and overhaul facility centered around serving the seating and interior component needs of corporate aircraft.

AvFab's sister company, Central Airmotive, is a comprehensive supplier of Original Equipment Manufacture interior products such as seats, divans, tables, toilets, cabinets and dividers. Central Airmotive currently has over 90,000 sq. ft. of OEM seats and cabin components.
