Aspen Video Chronicles 10 Years In The Industry

Company History Runs From AT300 To Connected Panel And Beyond

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Aspen has released a short video showcasing some of the company's highlights over the past decade.

The company says in the video that it started in 2004 "founded by aviation enthusiasts driven to provide affordable advance avionics display technologies to the general aviation marketplace." It launched its first product, the AT300 Hazard Display for terrain awareness, in 2005.

The Evolution display, on which much of the company's business is based, first hit the market in 2006. Other highlights include the introduction of the EFD 1000H primary flight display for helicopters in 2009, and the "Connected Panel" concept in 2011.

Aspen now claims over 9,000 systems are in use in more than 45 countries.
