Today FAA Boss Steve Dickson got hit with the big question early on…

What is the FAA going to do about recent mis-steps with the flight training interpretations and the need for L.O.D.A.’s to do what used to be simply allowed as standard procedure. But... Jack Pelton didn’t seem satisfied with Dickson’s answers... and said so. Administrator Dickson also dealt with questions about MOSAIC and the future reimagining of the Light Sport segment... a program that forecast will NOT be complete until the fall of 2023. And finally, Dickson dodged our questions about whether or not the FAA will make an exception in their new regs and allow Wally Funk to earn FAA Astronaut Wings. John, Martha, and Barry are about their new app and other upgrades for the ever-growing King School efforts... and as usual, that’s a lot. Gogo is expanding the availability of their massively speedy new Gogo 5G system... even to the point that single-engine turbines can now fully utilize the capabilities and bandwidth now available. So the ANN crew tried to get rid of me by
putting me in an aerobatic airplane and placed bets whether I was going to chicken out, pass out or… get sick… but no one won any bets... better luck next time! All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
