Safe Flight Donates $50,000 To Corporate Angel Network

CAN Has Flown More Than 32,000 Cancer Patients Since 1981

Safe Flight Instrument Corporation has contributed $50,000 to support the work of Corporate Angel Network, the public charity that coordinates free flights to treatment for cancer patients using the empty seats of business aircraft.

"Safe Flight is proud to be one of the many companies in business aviation who donate space for cancer patients on their aircraft and help to financially support Corporate Angel Network's work," said Randall Greene, Safe Flight's President and CEO.  Greene is also Chairman of Corporate Angel Network.

The organization has received dozens of individual honors for its humanitarian work including the Volunteer Action Award from the President of the United States.  The charity has arranged flights for more than 32,000 cancer patients.

Safe Flight, products are installed on nearly two-thirds of the world's aircraft, has been a strong supporter of Corporate Angel Network since it's founding in 1981.  On December 22, 1981, the late Leonard Greene, co-founder of CAN and founder of Safe Flight, personally flew the first Corporate Angel Network flight, bringing a sixteen year old boy home to Detroit for Christmas after having received treatment in New York City.
