Australian MP Has Planes Dropped From Sales Website

Company Seeks To Become A Creditor In Bankruptcy Proceedings

A website advertising two airplanes belonging to Palmer Aviation, which was placed in voluntary administration on January 18, has taken down ads for the company's Citation X and Cirrus SR22T-G3 saying invoices for the advertising have not been paid.

The website, controller.com, has asked to be placed on the list of creditors in the bankruptcy proceeding, according to the Queensland, AU newspaper The Courier-Mail.

Clive Palmer, a businessman who built a mining empire which has since collapsed and later was elected to the Australian Parliament, said in a text message to the paper "Not True. Unbelievable."

The Citation X is reportedly registered in the Cayman Islands to Queensland Nickel, which is also in administration. The SR22 is registered in Australia to another one of Palmer's companies.

A spokesman for FTI Consulting, which is the administrator for both Palmer Aviation and Queensland Nickel, said that the Cessna was in fact part of its investigation, and the consultant "will report back to creditors in due course in relation to assets and liabilities."
