To Be Awarded At Leadership Conference This Week
The NBAA has announced the recipients of its Donald A. Baldwin, Sr. Business Aviation Management Scholarships, which benefit individuals seeking to become NBAA Certified Aviation Managers (CAMs).

The scholarships, which are given annually in coordination with the family of Donald A. Baldwin, Sr., promote professional development in business aviation by providing financial support for qualified CAM exam candidates.
The 2015 recipients are:
- Stuart Swanson – Swanson is a flight operations captain with S.C. Johnson & Son in Racine, WI. Swanson holds a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and is working toward a master's degree in leadership. “The combination of completing the CAM certification and my master’s degree will give me the opportunity to apply the theoretical leadership concepts learned through my degree program, as well as the practical, real-world applications necessary for the CAM program,” said Swanson.
- Anna Irish Price – Price is an aviation manager with Jet Pacific in Amman, Jordan. She holds an FAA aircraft dispatcher certificate, which helps with her main duties at Jet Pacific, LLC. A graduate of the University of Santo Thomas in Manila, Price has a bachelor of science in mathematics. “Becoming a Certified Aviation Manager has become my ultimate goal in order to advance to a leadership or executive position in aviation," said Price. "Or, better yet, I could start my own aviation business.”
The scholarship is named for Donald A. Baldwin, Sr., an accomplished business aviation pilot who served on NBAA's Board of Directors from 1968 to 1971. In his lifetime, he was recognized for his contributions to business aviation by receiving the NBAA John P. "Jack" Doswell Award and the Flight Safety Foundation Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award.
The Baldwin scholarships will be awarded at NBAA's 2015 Leadership Conference, which is scheduled for Feb. 24 to 26 in Tucson, AZ. The Baldwin Business Aviation Management Scholarship is one of several scholarships offered by NBAA to promote professional development and business aviation careers.
