FDS Introduces The Industry’s Thinnest High-Definition Displays

New EDGE SERIES HD Displays For Private And Business Aircraft

Flight Display Systems has introduced the EDGE SERIES HD, a new line of ultra-thin, full high-definition displays for business and private jets.

Answering the demand for ultra-thin, lightweight monitors, all EDGE SERIES HD models measure only one inch thin. The new high-definition displays are engineered from the ground up to meet or exceed the most rigorous standards. Additionally, the new designs are fanless, allowing for whisper quiet operation.

FDS set a milestone with the first high-definition displays for aircraft in 2007. Now, the leading designer and manufacturer of cabin electronics is surpassing the limitations of previous displays by delivering a true 1080p resolution at 60MHz. EDGE SERIES HD delivers superior picture quality with increased contrast, brightness, and brilliant color.

Initially, the displays will be available in the most popular sizes, including 17", 22", and 32". The displays offer flexible installation configurations from flush to proud. An optional front bezel attaches securely and seamlessly with magnets and can be custom finished upon request.
