Airplane Evacuated After Cargo Compartment Threat

The Seven Words You Can't Write On An Airplane?

An airplane being loaded for takeoff in Oklahoma City was evacuated Monday after threatening words were found scrawled inside a cargo hold.

An employee of Trans States Airlines, a regional carrier for American, told authorities that "suspicious and threatening graffitti" was discovered in the belly of the 50-passenger Embraer 145.

No one would say what those exact words were -- but they were enough to force the airline to hurry the 44 passengers heading to St. Louis off the airplane. The airline then had the aircraft towed to a remote section of Will Rogers International Airport while the aircraft was searched.

No dangerous devices were found onboard the airplane, and passengers were placed onto other flights. After the search was completed, the flight crew flew the aircraft empty on to St. Louis.
