Delivers 200th HondaJet Made, Plus 7 Aircraft During 2021
Honda Aircraft Company announced that its HA-420 has successfully retained its status as "the most delivered aircraft in its class for the fifth consecutive year," according to the most recent GAMA data. The company delivered 37 of its light jet to buyers throughout 2021.
Honda took the opportunity to touch up the aircraft last year when it released the newest iteration, the Elite S model. The upgrade brought a series of small enhancements to the HondaJet, refined the flight deck with additional convenience features, and enhanced passenger comfort just in time for the 200th aircraft to be delivered in late December. The whole fleet of Hondas started off the new year with their 100,000th flight hour in January, establishing the design as a real member of the business jet field. And those milestones weren't alone, as the Honda trophy case has been steadily filled as time went on. The FAA even granted the company a Diamond level AMT employer award to recognize their high crew standards in maintaining the Honda fleet.
"I am humbled and honored that the HondaJet continues to be selected by our owners and operators as we expand our global fleet," said Honda Aircraft Company President and CEO Michimasa Fujino. "Being the best-selling aircraft in our class for five consecutive years is a reflection of the Honda Aircraft team's commitment to offering our customers a product of the highest performance, quality, and our maturity as a leader in the aviation industry. We will continue to bring new value to the industry and provide superior service and support to customers."
