2025 Space Coast Airshow Cancelled

VAC Calls Off Event Because of Runway Resurfacing

The Valiant Air Command (VAC) has officially called off the 2025 Warbird Air Show at Space Coast Regional Airport (TIX) in Titusville, Florida. The organization listed resurfacing work on the runway as its primary reason.

Space Coast Regional, previously known as TICO, last hosted an air show in 2022. It received impressive attendance on both days of the event, featuring beautiful birds ranging from the pre-WWII era to modern service jets.

A similar event was hosted nearby at Cocoa Beach’s Lori Wilson Park in 2023, this time hosted by Air Show Dot Com. This was also heavily attended, proving Space Coast’s reputation as a worthy air show destination.

Organizers had set the next event for Saturday and Sunday, March 15-16, 2025. The 4-ship AeroShell demonstration team, now known as the Titan Aerobatic Team, was set to headline the show with additional features from the Air Combat Command’s F-22 Raptor and opportunities to ride in a Huey or Cobra from the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation/Sky Soldiers.

However, Valiant Air Command has made the tough decision to call off the planned March 2025 event. It explained that construction will be beginning on Space Coast Regional’s primary runway, 18/36, in February 2025. The construction is expected to last for around four months.

Fortunately, VAC’s announcement also confirmed its plans to return to Space Coast Regional Airport for a Warbird Airshow in March 2026. With this event still being around 14 months from now, details remain limited. Further updates will be provided through VAC’s website and Facebook page.

In the meantime, Valiant’s Warbird Air Museum remains open at 6600 Tico Road in Titusville, Florida. The facility owns over 50 historic aircraft with pilot stories to go with them. It is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm almost every day.
