New 'Technology Track' In Store For AOPA Expo 2005

Learn, Baby, Learn

AOPA Expo 2005 will be starting sooner than you think. And it's not too early to start checking out the array of educational opportunities for aviators who understand that a good pilot is always learning.

When Expo kicks off November 3rd in Tampa, FL, general aviation pilots will have more than 75 hours of practical, targeted seminars to pick from.

New this year is a special Technology Track with seminars that include:

  • Flying Glass Cockpits in General Aviation
  • VFR Navigation: Using Portable GPS Systems Safely
  • WAAS: What Does it Mean for IFR?
  • GPS Approaches, Navigation Databases, and Charts

All of the Expo seminars are grouped into "tracks," so pilots can conveniently select the educational opportunities most appropriate for them. In addition to the new Technology Track, there are also tracks for proficiency, medical issues, safety issues, owners, and all pilots.
