Guilty: Three Former TSA Workers Accused Of Theft

All Make Deals With Prosecutors In Seattle Federal Court

Three former TSA workers have pleaded to federal charges after they were accused of stealing items confiscated from passengers at SEA-TAC Airport.

The suspects were identified as:

  • Marvin Lyons, 63, Puyallup, WA
  • Darryl Price, 23, Lakewood, WA
  • Ernest Hogan, 44, Tacoma, WA

All three admitted they stole items including knives, tools and other confiscated belongings stored at the airport. Price also admitted selling some of the stolen goods on eBay.

The three were fired by the TSA after an investigation by the DHS Inspector General, Port of Seattle Police and the ATF.

Lyons and Hogan will be sentenced in December, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Price was sentenced to two-years' probation last week.
