You Still Need VOR and NDB Skills

Comm1 Makes the Ideal Tool for Practice

Comm1, the folks with the classiest and most-useful courses anywhere, has revised their VOR/NDB Simulator, that allows you to practice navigation using a variety of instruments: VOR Navigation, HSI Navigation, NDB (ADF) Navigation, and RMI Navigation. It's a real-time, interactive, "flyable" simulator for developing your navigation and visualization skills.

Practice position-finding, interception, and tracking skills. Instrument pilots can also practice advanced skills such as DME arcs and holding. Best of all, you can create custom navigation scenarios by dragging the VORs, NDBs, and your airplane around the screen wherever you wish. It's all point-and-click.
