Closures are effective Nov. 10, 2025, (UTC-5), through Dec. 31, 2025, unless canceled earlier or extended as operational needs require.

All operators must check NOTAMs prior to flight or contact Flight Service to confirm airport status.

The FAA acknowledges the federal shutdown has been challenging for all operators and the agency appreciates the efforts everyone is putting out to maintain safety and operational readiness.

VAI and all other members of the Modern Skies Coalition urge Congress to take all steps necessary to rapidly end the government shutdown to enable the FAA to rescind the emergency order.

The full emergency order can be viewed on the FAA website.
