Piper Aircraft Brand Ambassador Program Expands

Middle Georgia State University Students Welcomed

Piper Aircraft announced the addition of two new brand ambassadors to the company’s Piper Brand Ambassador Program. Subject individuals are pursuing professional flight degrees and FAA pilot certification and ratings at Middle Georgia State University (MGSU), a Piper Flight School Alliance member and longtime Piper Aircraft fleet customer.

Piper Brand Ambassadors are students at select Piper Flight School Alliance fleet partner schools. These carefully vetted students post—sincerely—on social media in support of the Piper brand. Ambassadors showcase aviation and lifestyle content to their followers, in so doing sharing the life of a student undergoing flight training in the Piper product lineup.

The ambassador program originated in 2020 at the University of North Dakota (UND) with four ambassadors and has since expanded to include five flight school partners. Currently, the program retains ambassadors at UND, Minnesota State University at Mankato, the L3Harris Flight Academy, and Purdue University. Middle Georgia State University is the program’s fifth participating institution, and the second in the southern United States to be represented by student ambassadors.

Ambassador candidates apply for the program via online applications, in-depth social-media reviews, and interviews. After reviewing numerous qualified applicants, Piper and Middle Georgia State University selected Jake Dever and Francisca Pollarolo as the school’s first brand ambassadors.

Jake Dever is a junior at Middle Georgia State University studying Aviation Science and Management with a focus on flight. He’s an instrument-rated private pilot with a little over 350 hours and currently pursuing his commercial certificate. In addition to being a student at Middle Georgia, Jake owns a Piper Cherokee, which he enjoys flying all over the U.S. When asked what appealed to him most about being accepted into the Piper Brand Ambassador program, Jake remarked: “I look forward to not only represent[ing] Middle Georgia State, but also the Piper brand as a whole, and I can’t wait for the adventures this opportunity takes me on!”

Francisca Pollarolo is a Middle Georgia State University junior pursuing degrees in Aviation Science with a concentration in flight, and Business with a focus in marketing. Recently, she obtained her instrument rating, and is now working towards her commercial certificate. A Chilean and Italian student, Francisca currently resides in the United States for the three-fold purpose of prosecuting her academic aims, earning herself a career in aviation, and pursuing her passion for playing soccer as a MGSU student athlete. Asked to what she aspired within the context of the Piper Brand Ambassador program, Francisca stated she hopes “to be able to inspire fellow aviators as well as represent other foreign pilots like myself.”

Piper is proud to welcome accomplished students and aspiring professionals the likes of Jake Dever and Francisca Pollarolo to the Piper Brand Ambassador program. Piper Aircraft marketing and events manager Alba Walcott set forth: “Piper Aircraft deeply understands the value our flight school customers across the nation bring to our brand. It is our honor to include such an esteemed university like Middle Georgia State University in this initiative, and we have no doubt that Jake and Francisca will represent the Piper brand beautifully throughout their tenures as ambassadors.”
