Banyan Air Obtains HondaJet Gogo STC

Broadband-Speed Avance L3 System Now Available for HA-420 Operators

Gogo's high-speed internet capabilities are now available for HondaJet owners through Banyan Air Service, as their STC for the AVANCE L3 Wi-Fi system has been approved.

For the first time, owners can now avail themselves of the high performance, reliable domestic network of Gogo Business Aviation throughout the contiguous US. The Avance system was specifically designed for easy equipment updates, allowing owners to quickly avail themselves of 5G network improvements as they are rolled out. For operators with demanding clientele - particularly the types who can afford to run an HA-420 with consistency - the ability to offer in-flight internet, meetings, and high definition streaming is well worth the trouble for the QoL/business improvement.

Avance can quickly install easy plug-and-play 5G kit with minimal downtime, further sweetening the HondaJet as a premium charter or business aircraft. Given its uptake in the Part 91 and 135 world, it was only natural that Banyan went for the STC to beat the rest of the field to market with the combination. With the Avance installed, operators can offer in-flight internet as low as 3,000 feet AGL,  which, when combined with regular cellular service, grants customers an end-to-end in flight connection. Banyan offers the system as an in-house installation as well as a standalone STC data packet for all in-network Gogo Dealers.

"We are excited to provide HondaJet operators with the latest in connectivity solutions," said Danny Santiago, Banyan's director of avionics. "The AVANCE L3 enables passengers to work, socialize, and have access to information and entertainment in the air as they are used to on the ground."
