Oshkosh 2023 Morning Brief: Day Two-Catalina Reborn?, Sun n Fun 50th!, DeltaHawk

The First of Two Days Of Morning Brief Goodness!

Join us for our first Oshkosh 2023 Morning Brief, live from Wittman Field! We'll have news from the day before, a little weather report, live interviews, and a look ahead and the day's events to come!

We predicted a massive opening day for OSH23 and we weren’t wrong. We’re approaching gridlock, airplane-wise and road traffic was significant…. Despite some bizarre traffic patterns installed by Oshkosh PD. We are seeing some amazing airplanes here… the Super-Guppy is as ugly and fascinating as ever while a real-live Constellation should be flying several times this week. And of course… that ain’t all. Check Airborne for more.

A Few Highlights for the day to come…

We are pleased to report that a turbine version of the renowned PBY Catalina is in the planning stages!
The 50th Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo will be even bigger than last year…. With many upgrades and special features…. Including ANN’s work on the Sun ‘n Fun Digital Daily, a  much upgraded SNF Innovation Preview and more details on the Affordable Flying Expo.
DeltaHawk is not only here with a new certified engine… but you should see the Velocity V Twin they’ve installed two of these power plants on… gorgeous!
EAA remembers Tom Poberezny with a beautifully crafted statue

Tonight’s Airborne is another whopper… including parts of a comprehensive interview with EAA President and CEO and Chairman of the Board talking about what he looks forward to, MOST, at Oshkosh 2023… along with a number of great features that cover much of the highlights of the day as well as some cool stories that you shouldn’t miss.

See you here tomorrow at 0900 CT!
