Seven Days To Oshkosh... And ANN Is Bringing You Some Neat New Features!

ANN Unveils Special Oshkosh Aero-Casts!

How did this happen? We have just SEVEN days (eep!) to go before the aviation version of Christmas -- this year's AirVenture celebration -- kicks off in Oshkosh, WI.

We've been hinting over the past few weeks at some major announcements of new features and services Aero-News will be bringing our readers in celebration of the world's largest general aviation airshow... and now, we're FINALLY ready to start filling you in (on some of them... we gotta keep the suspense up a LITTLE longer... grin.)

  • Starting Monday, July 17, Aero-News will be bringing our readers and listeners not one... but TWO ANN Special Feature Aero-Casts per weekday. One of these will cover an annoucement or news item specific to Oshkosh... an "Osh-Kast", if you will (and we do)... intended to whet your appetites for the big show.
  • But it gets better! Beginning on Monday, July 24 -- the official opening day of AirVenture 2006 -- we'll be bringing you an ADDITIONAL Daily Touch-and-Go and Daily Briefing, devoted entirely to Oshkosh... AND, we'll also be bringing you each night's presentation from the Theater In The Woods! This is in addition to regular news coverage and Special Reports.

And that's just for starters! Stay tuned for other BIG announcements this week from ANN... on features and "cool stuff" we're unveiling for our readers!

Other Oshkosh News

For 2006, Aero-News is bringing its largest staff EVER to Oshkosh: over 20 crazed (and crazy) Aero-heads, each bringing his or her individual talents and viewpoints to the Big Show. Some are flying into the show in their own planes; others are roughing it in the campground. We have grizzled Oshkosh veterans... and wide-eyed AirVenture newbies.

We gotta tell ya... so far, these stringers have done some amazing prepwork leading up to the big show. We started introducing them last week... and you've already seen some of their writing (more is on the way!) When the show kicks off, be sure to look for them, and all of our staffers, in our official Aero-News shirts and caps, roaming the grounds in search of stories.

ANN's onsight coverage from AirVenture begins Monday, July 17... one week before the show throws open its doors to the public -- because we need a week to set up for all we'll be bringing our readers and listening audience throughout AirVenture 2006.

Whether it's online... visual... or audio, all we can say is... prepare to be amazed. We've set the bar for ourselves higher than we ever have before -- and we're just crazy enough to believe we can meet your expectations, and ours.

For one last time, we also want to put the call to ANYONE who will be announcing a new product, or innovation, at AirVenture. From the largest GA manufacturers... on down to the backyard tinkerer who has come up with something completely new and innovative for the industry... if you're going to be making news at AirVenture 2006... we want to hear from YOU!

(And believe us when we tell you -- there are already some BIG announcements that we're just itchin' to tell you about...)

Drop us a line at the FMI link below TODAY to let us know where you'll be... and what you'll be bringing! And one week from today... we'll see YOU at Wittman Field!
