FAA Authorizes U.S. Sales Of Seeker Aircraft

Company Successfully Completes FAA Requirements Needed For Part 23 Operation

The FAA says that Seeker Aircraft America has successfully completed all validation requirements for its Seeker SB7L-360A and the increased horsepower A2 model aircraft. The validation flights enable FAA Part 23 Normal Category certification in the United States.

“Currently in the US, the Seeker is being used by government entities,” said Dave Pohlman, President and CEO, “But it has great application in the commercial world as well. We are very pleased to have completed this very important component of the FAA Part 23 Normal Category certification process that will enable the aircraft’s use in commercial application.”

The Seeker is a versatile, one-of-a-kind, purpose built, light observation aircraft that was specifically designed and developed for observation and surveillance missions. This durable, fixed-wing aircraft provides a low cost solution for missions requiring short take-off and landing capabilities, easy in-field maintenance, and industry leading cockpit visibility.

The FAA validation flights consisted of evaluation of the cockpit and ergonomics, general flight characteristics, and stall characteristics.

Seekers are currently flying missions in Australia, the United States, the Middle East, and Africa.
