AOPA Expo Attendee Has Answer For Covering A LOT Of Ground

We Want This For Next Year!

There are ways to get around AOPA Expo 2006 -- and then there are ways to get around!

With over a half a million square feet of exhibit, aircraft, and seminar space to maneuver through to ensure one sees and takes advantage of everything that the AOPA conference has to offer, participants may prepare elaborate walking charts, send out "advance teams" to determine best navigation routes... or, if you're Ron Cain, from the San Francisco area, hop on your Segway to get from here to there.

Ron, whose knees may be similar to those of many football players, received special AOPA permission to bring his rented Segway to the conference (he owns one, himself, back home).

Cain calls himself a general aviation "pilot-in-training." He flies a G1000-equipped Cessna 172 from San Carlos Airport through JATO Aviation, of San Mateo, CA.

When he's not learning to fly... or zipping around on his Segway... Ron is a mortgage banker.
