Updates To The Wings And Spars Now Include Complete Carbon Fiber Throughout

Seamax came to the 2021 DeLand Aviation Showcase with the latest version of their M-22 amphibious plane. Unlike some competing aircraft, it includes niceties that belie its weight and price point, including a glass cockpit, panoramic canopy, electric landing gear, and ballistic parachute.

Wesley Querioz, engineer, goes over what’s what with the Seamax Aircraft. Starting in 2021, updates to the wings and spars now include complete carbon fiber throughout, lightening and strengthening the aircraft while increasing useful load. The airplane is built around fun, affordable, all-surface operation.

From snow to sea, tarmac to strip, the Seamax can be tailored to each user mission. Power is provided by Rotax 912, with possible inclusion of their 915 for turbocharged power in the future. Built in Brazil, with final assembly completed in the United States, the Seamax is expected to be available towards the end of 2022, after current orders are filled.
