Eve Air Mobility Adds Ties in Australian Charter Industry

Seals Deal for 50 eVTOLS to Tourism, Charter, and Commuter Operators

Eve Air Mobility has further strengthened its position in the Australian market after finalizing a partnership that will see up to 50 eVTOL aircraft enter service with two arms of the HM Consolidated group, HeliSpirit and Avair.

The Embraer subsidiary has made healthy inroads into the region, previously creating partnerships throughout the Queensland and Sydney areas. During the Singapore Airshow, Eve managed to made multiple agreements for some of the most iconic tourist attractions in the Kimberley, South-West, and Greater Perth regions. The partnership with Aviair and HeliSpirit

Australia's Aviair operates airline, scenic, and charter flights focused around the Kimberley and Pilbara regions, running a fleet of Pilatus PC-12s, Cessna Caravans, and King Airs. Similarly, HeliSpirit offers the same roster of services using rotary aircraft, in addition to support for mining and safari flights. The addition of Eve UAMs will offer a quantitative leap in capability, allowing both operators a level of operational freedom only possible with eVTOL aircraft. Eve's combination of quiet operation and land-anywhere capability makes it a perfect choice for taking passengers off the beaten path in a way that causes minimal alteration and disturbance to the wilderness.

“Eve’s eVTOL technology is well-aligned with our business model and desire to be at the forefront of carbon-neutral solutions for the aviation industry. The low-noise footprint of the aircraft makes them particularly well-suited to operations in sensitive natural settings, including national parks and World Heritage-listed areas, as well as for urban transfers providing quick and efficient solutions for both business and tourism travelers,” said Micheal McConachy, managing director for both Aviair and HeliSpirit.

“This initiative is a significant milestone for Eve. Our partnership opens up an important market in Western Australia that will see our aircraft serving Australia’s iconic tourist attractions with zero-emission and low-noise flights. We share a common vision of a carbon-neutral future for air mobility, supported by Eve’s eVTOL, comprehensive service and support network, and air traffic management solutions,” said Andre Stein, co-CEO of Eve.
