Sun ‘n Fun certainly lives up to its title name as attendees will now be able to experience a demonstration of the new high-end motorsport known as, the Red Bull Air Races.

It’s been reported that Sun ‘n Fun has worked with Red Bull Air Races to put on a demonstration race during the April 8, 9 and 10 afternoon airshows. Flying at top speed at well over 200 miles per hour around the signature 80-foot pylons in an abbreviated course, Master Class Red Bull Air Race pilots Michael Goulian and Kirby Chambliss will showcase their skill and daring for the fans at SUN ‘n FUN. The FAA has made some adjustments to its Section 333 exemption policy for UAS commercial use. When applying for a UAS commercial operation exemption, the certificate of authorization, commonly referred to as the COA, issued to the operator addresses what the operator is asking for. The British Royal Air Force Red Arrows jet display team normally performs at the Fowey Royal Regatta in south Cornwall, England. But this year, the performance of the team has been cancelled due to "safety concerns," according to the organizers of the show. The Cornish Guardian newspaper reports that the cancellation was announced following an audit by the Military Aviation Authority determined that there was not enough space for the team to perform above the River Fowey. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
