Multiple Upgrades: New Leadership At NATA

New Board, New Chairman

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has named Greg Arnold, president and COO of TAC Air, as the new chairman of the NATA Board of Directors.  Additional newly elected Board members include Jake Cartwright, president and CEO of TAG Aviation USA, and Sally Leible, president of Airport Terminal Services (ATS).

  • Greg Arnold has served as president of the Arkansas Oil Marketers Association, vice president of the Independent Liquid Terminal Association, and Board and campaign chairman of the United Way of Texarkana.  He is affiliated with the National Petroleum Council, Lake Texoma Advisory Committee and Red River Redevelopment Authority.  Arnold holds a degree from Stephen F. Austin University.
  • Jake Cartwright started with TAG Aviation USA in the late 1970s, but it was 1989 when he rejoined the company as vice president.  He managed TAG's consulting activities, domestic flight operations, customer accounts, charter sales and marketing, and new business development and sales.  Today, as president, he is responsible for all operations of TAG Aviation USA.  He holds a degree from Princeton University and has accumulated over 10,000 hours of flight time in military and civilian aircraft.
  • William T. Greenwell, CFO and partner with Frederick Aviation, in Frederick (MD) has been elected to the National Air Transportation Association Board of Directors.  Greenwell has been a member of NATA's Business Management Committee since 1996 and now serves as chairman of that committee.  He is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Miami.  He joined Frederick Aviation, a full-service FBO, in 1994.
  • Sally Leible began her career with ATS, a growing St. Louis-based airline service company, in 1975 as a station manager.  As president, she manages more than 1,500 people who provide ramp services at more than 33 locations for 50 major carriers throughout the United States and Canada.  Leible has been named one of the 25 most influential women in St. Louis and is a member of the International Aviation Handlers Association (IAHA).

"We are delighted to welcome Sally and Jake as new Board members and Greg as our new chairman," said NATA president James Coyne.  "We look forward to the vision, leadership and service that they bring to our members and to the aviation business community."
