The FLIGHT Act will give General Aviation (GA) airports more flexibility to facilitate infrastructure investment by using existing sources of funding. The FAA has fully certified the Bell Jet Ranger X helicopter almost exactly four years after being introduced as the Bell Short Light Single (SLS) at the Paris Airshow on June 17, 2013. Bell Helicopter will continue to work with other certification authorities around the globe. Through the flight test program, the Bell 505 underwent rigorous certification activities and achieved more than 1,000 flight test hours. The Snowbirds Canadian precision demonstration has resumed its air show schedule after two weeks of intensive training and practice at its home base of 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The team announced on its Facebook page that its first performance would be Dundurn, Saskatchewan at the Dundurn Air Show. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
