AvWorks Aviation Completes Eco-Friendly Jet Reclamation Project

Parts And Systems From A Lear Jet 24 Will Find New Life Following Salvage

No one likes to think about where old jets go to die, but even airplanes sometimes need to be ... recycled ... for lack of a better term. Such a process was recenly completed by Fort Lauderdale-based AvWorks Aviation Corp, which successfully dismantled and reclaimed parts of a Lear Jet 24 at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.

Under a previously announced Management Advisory Agreement with Precision Aircraft Dismantling, the Company financed and managed the project using Precision's proprietary eco-friendly portioning process. It is the second successful "green" salvage project the two companies have completed together since December.

"Valuable parts and components were identified, removed and tagged for our inventory; the client was happy, the job site was clean, and our relationship with Precision solidified," says Joel Young, AvWorks CEO, " We expect to generate more business from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport as the administrators, aircraft owners and managers all stopped by to experience firsthand our unique dismantling process."

AvWorks Aviation is a diversified aviation and aerospace Company that operates across multiple sectors and services; including supply chain support, maintenance, asset management, dismantling, specialty supply, technical data and aircraft fleet solutions.
