‘MidSouth’ Avionics Facility Now Accepting Broad Range of Work
Forge Flightworks, formerly Carpenter Avionics, has obtained its MRO approval to begin offering engine maintenance, repair, and upgrade services.
The company noted the milestone as it "expands its mission to offer a broad array of services for general aviation aircraft." Now, Forge Flightworks, customers can have their annual inspections, 100-hours, oil changes, performance modifications, brake & tire repairs, and more completed all in one place. Their flagship facility is "the largest avionics service center in the MidSouth region of the US", making it centrally located for a good swath of those in the south of the states.
So far, Forge has been able to build out its specializations to take care of Piper, Mooney, Cessna, and Beechcraft planes, with plans to continue the onward march throughout the rest of the market. The firm is already a Mooney Authorized Service Center, with initial specialization for Piper Aircraft and Mooney Aircraft. They can work on Pratt & Whitney, Lycoming, and Continental engines.
“Aircraft owners and operators in reach of middle Tennessee now have a new choice for engine and airframe maintenance services from a company that’s been trusted to perform vital aviation work since 1981,” said Mark Lee, CEO at Forge Flightworks. “Forge Flightworks now can provide one-stop-shop convenience, time-savings and likely cost-savings for general aviation services in avionics, premium custom aircraft interiors, airframe, and now engine repair, maintenance and upgrades. This is a major milestone for our company as we continue to help our customers get more from their aircraft.”
