Viking aircraft engines has been producing the Viking 110 for 4-years, and has now upped its game with the new Viking 135.

The Viking 135 is a new product and will be completely tested and ready for deliveries in January of 2016.  It is made in America and use traditional American engine architecture.  It is essentially a baby Corvette engine. Same layout but half as many cylinders and in a miniature format. Airbus officially launched the A321neo program with a heavier maximum take-off weight of 97 metric tons, which is almost 214,000 pounds, after they secured the first commitment from Air Lease Corporation. The Los Angeles based lessor signed a Memorandum of Understanding for 30 more A321neo, upsizing its commitments at the 2014 Farnborough Airshow from 60 to 90 and becoming the launch customer for Airbus’ increased range option. Kevin Schmidt of Rapid City, South Dakota changes lightbulbs for a living. That becomes a bit more challenging when the lightbulbs are at the top of towers that may be 1,500 feet in the air. And while that's not necessarily a story we might pass along to you, this time it is. All this... and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
