Eagle Aircrafts Reports Milestones Since Sun 'N Fun Introduction

Availability, Pricing, Options Released At AirVenture

After the introduction of the Viper SD4 in April at Sun 'n Fun, Eagle International Aircrafts reported several milestones at AirVenture this week.

The company says that a student has already soloed in an SD4, and two new Viper aircraft have just arrived in the U.S. The Fort Lauderdale, FL-based company has selected Wayman Aviation in Miami as the flight training center and service center, and the number of distributor contracts across North America, Latin America and the caribbean is growing.

There are four different configurations on display at AirVenture:

  • with Rotax 912 100HP ULS and Dynon avionics, Navigation AvMaps
  • with Rotax 912 100HP ULS and Dynon avionics, Navigation Garmin
  • with Rotax 912iS 100HP, Dynon SkyView displays, Navigation AvMaps and glider tow hook
  • with Rotax 914 ULTurbo, 115HP, Dynon SkyView, Navigation Garmin and autopilot

All of the aircraft are equipped with Ballistic Recovery System.

This all-metal original design was conceived to embody ruggedness, low maintenance and repair cost, and high availability, ideal not just for flight schools, for individual owners, as well. The company says refinement in Europe over the past ten years has perfected design, build, systems, and flight characteristics, for a comfortable, practical, beautiful, and economical ride.

The cockpit features a rear-hinged canopy and steps on both sides allow easy ingress for both pilot and passenger or instructor. The Viper SD4 also features several instrumentation packages.

Large fuel tanks and exceptional comfort position the Viper SD-4 as an effective cross-country personal or businesses transport with a range of nearly 600 nautical miles. And the Viper SD-4 can be painted in the customer's choice of colors.

The Viper SD4 can be ordered ready-to-fly as an LSA starting at $89,900. Financing starts at just $570/month for the basic package.
