Skyways’ New Owner Unveils New Name: Fly Jet Center

Sole FBO At Huron Regional Airport

Under new ownership, Huron (South Dakota) Regional Airport’s sole FBO announces its new name: Fly Jet Center.

Previously known as Skyways, the FBO at KHON is getting more than a fresh name—the operation is focused on providing a premier customer experience out of a newly-renovated facility featuring a pilot’s lounge, conference room, flight planning room with internet access, wireless internet, pilot supplies, a passenger lobby and heated hangar space.

“The new name is representative of the developments we’re making at KHON,” said Tanyika Sims, Fly Jet Center’s president and COO. “We’re thrilled to be able to serve South Dakota’s aviation market—as well as those visiting for a quick tech stop—with the quality services they deserve in a facility of which the Huron community can be proud.”

Along with well-appointed facilities and steadfast customer care, Fly Jet Center offers guests flying to eastern South Dakota expert ground handling, heightened safety, quick turns, lav service, oxygen and nitrogen services, aircraft sales, rental cars, suburban courtesy transportation, travel agency services, pilot services, and gourmet catering. Fly Jet Center is also pleased to unveil its newly-expanded, full-service aircraft maintenance department serving KHON’s tenants and guests, and further serves the aviation community with expert charter services through its sister company, Jet 60.

Whether looking for an ideal cross-country tech stop or flying in for a lengthier stay, flight departments that choose Fly Jet Center can trust the FBO’s team to deliver on its dedication to service with Midwestern hospitality and safe, professional operations via a more complete aviation services portfolio.

As an Avfuel-branded FBO, Fly Jet Center offers operators the convenience and competitive prices of Avfuel Contract Fuel, and lucrative rewards through AVTRIP. Now through the end of the year, AVTRIP Members will earn triple (six) points per gallon on fuel purchases.
