Another TFR For Crawford, TX

The FAA has imposed a 30-nautical-mile-radius TFR around President Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas. FDC 3/3941 expands P-49 to a 30 NMR below 18,000 feet beginning at 12:05 p.m. local time on Thursday, May 22, and continuing through 2:45 p.m. local time on Sunday, May 25.

The TFR prohibits all aircraft operations (except military, law enforcement, and medevac) within the 0-10 NMR below 18,000 ft MSL. Aircraft operating within the 10-30 NMR must be on an active IFR or VFR flight plan with a discrete transponder code assigned by Air Traffic Control (ATC) and must remain in two-way communications with ATC. Flights are for ingress and egress only. Flight training, practice instrument approaches, aerobatic, glider, parachute, hang gliding, ultralight, aerial application, or animal control operations are not authorized.
