GAMA Welcomes Raphaël Fabian As Director Of European Affairs

Worked In A Similar Function For Rolls-Royce In Brussels

GAMA has named Raphaël Fabian as its Director of European Affairs.

Raphaël comes to GAMA from the Rolls-Royce European Affairs team in Brussels. During his seven years in this role, he specialized in advocacy and research funding for the aerospace and maritime sectors, focusing on transversal topics such as automated multi-modal transport, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and skills and sustainability. A trained software developer, Raphaël previously held customer-facing positions in sales and marketing, and worked in export, aviation and administration.

“We are pleased to add Raphaël to the GAMA team,” said GAMA president and CEO Pete Bunce. “His EU Affairs skill set, background in advocacy in the aerospace sector and multi-lingual abilities are a tremendous asset to our association’s work in Europe. In particular, Raphaël’s experience with automation, software development and artificial intelligence will serve our members immensely as we continue our march toward fielding electric and hybrid propelled air vehicles.”

Raphaël was born and raised in Brussels, Belgium, lived in Italy and Germany, and is fluent in five languages.
