FAA Sets Webinar For New Drone Owners

Will Cover What New Pilots Need To Know Before They Fly

The FAA will present a webinar on January 16 at 1900 EST entitled "How to fly your Recreational Drone in Airspace to include avoiding Emergency Areas".

During this presentation, participants will learn why the FAA regulates airspace, the different classifications, and when you will need an airspace authorization before you fly.

Registration for the webinar is open now. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

The FAA thanks the North Carolina and South Carolina FAASTeam Drone Pro's for their valuable input to this program. You can find your local Drone Pro on FAASafety.Gov

Participants will receive 1 Credit for Basic Knowledge Topic 3.
