NASA Critical Design Review Confirms Technology Has Met Program Requirement

Aerojet Rocketdyne’s NEXT-C ion propulsion engine has successfully cleared NASA’s critical design review (CDR), confirming the technology achieved all program requirements and is ready for final production of the flight units. NASA’s Evolutionary Xenon Thruster-Commercial (NEXT-C) was developed by NASA and is being commercialized by Aerojet Rocketdyne. Five-Year Contract Valued At About $27 Million

Rockwell Collins has been awarded multiple repair contracts by the U.S. Air Force to support Global Air Traffic Management (GATM) components on the entire KC-135 tanker fleet. These contracts, valued at approximately $27 million over the next five years, will keep the aircraft flying and in compliance with Communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) mandates.

Deliveries To The Indian Carrier To Begin In June

GECAS has committed to lease twelve Boeing 737 MAX 8s to Jet Airways (India) Limited with deliveries commencing in June 2018 and continuing into 2020. Six of these MAX aircraft will be from GECAS’ skyline order while the other six are from sale and leaseback transactions from Jet Airways’ order book.
