LYTE Aviation showed off a pair of brand new, sustainable aircraft in the 40-seater SkyBus and cargo-hauling SkyTruck. The hybrid, electric VTOL aircraft sport a 4.5 tonne payload, 1,000-km range, and 300 km/hr top speed with largely conventional technology. HALO Space has announced the next step in its journey towards edge-of-space commercial tourism. Four to Go

NASA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) made public the names of the four astronauts selected to serve as the Artemis II mission’s primary crew. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson stated: “The Artemis II crew represents thousands of people working tirelessly to bring us to the stars. This is their crew, this is our crew, this is humanity's crew. NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Hammock Koch, and CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen, each has their own story, but, together, they represent our creed: E pluribus unum—out of many, one."

SkyBus, SkyTruck Aim for Best of Both Worlds with Hydrogen/Electric Hybrid and Traditional Turbine Engines

LYTE Aviation showed off a pair of brand new, sustainable aircraft in the 40-seater SkyBus and cargo-hauling SkyTruck. The hybrid, electric VTOL aircraft sport a 4.5 tonne payload, 1,000-km range, and 300 km/hr top speed with largely conventional technology. The SkyBus, or LA-44, is about "5 times more efficient than traditional rotary wing aircraft", according to Lyte.

Airplane Suddenly Entered An Un-Commanded High-G Maneuver, And He Lost Control Of The Airplane

On March 12, 2023, at 1505 Pacific daylight time, an experimental, amateur built Cassutt M11 airplane, N55XJ, was Substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Castroville, California. The pilot was seriously injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The pilot stated he had conducted clearing turns and was performing an aileron roll when the airplane suddenly entered an un-commanded high-g maneuver, and he lost control of the airplane.
