Plan for School: AEA Scholarships Now Available

Three New Awards Announced for 2004/05

The Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) is now offering its scholarship applications for the 2004/2005 school year. The Foundation has 25 awards totaling over $100,000 to students pursuing careers in aircraft electronics, aircraft maintenance and aviation business management.

This year the Foundation will offer three new awards from L-3 Avionics Systems, Private Pilot Magazine and the family of the late Charles "Chuck" Peacock, AEA's founder. L-3 Avionics Systems and Private Pilot Magazine are sponsoring awards for aircraft electronics students at $2,500 and $1,000, respectively. The Chuck Peacock Memorial Scholarship will award $1,000 to a student pursuing a degree in aviation business management.

The application window will close February 1, 2004. Scholarships will be awarded during opening ceremonies at the ANNie winner's 2004 Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas (NV).

The AEA Educational Foundation was started in 1990 to enhance, promote and secure the future of aviation and the AEA by furthering the education of students, technicians and members of the AEA. Nearly $1 million has been awarded to students seeking a career in aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance.
