De Havilland Inaugurates Subsidiary In Greece

DHC Hellas Strengthens Presence In Region

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC) announced the launch of its new wholly-owned subsidiary in Greece, DHC Hellas, Ltd, expanding the company’s operations and services that will provide support for customers not only in Greece but also around the region.

De Havilland noted in its press release that the expansion reflects its strong cooperation with the government of Greece as well as its confidence in the Greek market.

In addition, the company said De Havilland Canada Hellas will be a strategic base for providing more responsive support for customers who operate the Waterbomber in Greece.

Jean-Philippe Côté, Vice President of Programs and Business Improvement at De Havilland Canada said, “We are proud to establish a regional presence in Greece, a country with a strong aviation tradition. This announcement reinforces our commitment to operators in this important market. This investment will allow us to better address the specific needs of our customers in the region, delivering faster response times, improved parts availability, and personalized support.”

Mr. Côté will be holding high-level discussions with officials of the Greek government during his visit this coming week. He will be accompanied by the Canadian Ambassador to Greece, Anna-Karine Asselin, and the two will be meeting with Evangelos Tournas and Nikos Papathanasis, Deputy Minister for Civil Protection and Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, respectively.

The goal of this significant meeting is to further solidify and deepen the growing partnership as well as explore potential new opportunities for collaboration.
