NGPA Announces New Executive Director

Association on the Upswing Changes Up the Brass

The National Gay Pilot Association has announced the installment of their new Executive Director, Justin Ellixson-Andrews.

The group "embarked on a year-long national search to define and select the next era of leadership", surveying all 92 applicants for suitability. Ultimately, the NGPA found the next generation within their own ranks. The group has swelled to more than 4,600 members worldwide, helped along with more than 120 in-person events held each year.

Justin Ellixson-Andrews has been in the industry for years, starting off at JSX. While there, he helped the company receive a perfect score of 100% on the "HRC Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ equality" list. He now lives in Dallas, Texas, with his husband Kyle and dog Bernie.

The NGPA speaks highly of their new Executive Director.

"Justin was the standout candidate for this critical role due to his innate understanding of what NGPA stands for—we are a family dedicated to the vision of being equal authentic and respected everywhere. Justin has been a long-time member of NGPA and knows the organization inside and out. He understands that the success of NGPA is tied to our diverse members, and his dedication, vision, and charisma make him the ideal candidate to lead our family into the future."

"Justin will be joining NGPA in Palm Springs this week for our Industry Expo and Winter Warm-Up events and looks forward to the opportunity of meeting our members and sponsors. We could not be happier to welcome Justin into his new role as the next leader of NGPA. With his talent, love, and passion, NGPA will undoubtedly continue on an upward trajectory of acceptance growth and respect. Please join us in welcoming Justin as he takes the reins of NGPA in the coming weeks."
