Bombardier Terminates Purchase Agreement With MyAir.com Of Italy

CRJ1000 NextGen Jetliner Program Continues To Move Forward

Bombardier Aerospace has terminated its firm order purchase agreement with MyAir.com of Italy in respect of all remaining undelivered aircraft.

Originally this firm order was announced on September 25, 2006 for the sale of 19 CRJ900 aircraft to My Way Airlines. On February 19, 2007, Bombardier announced that 15 of the 19 orders for CRJ900 aircraft were converted to the larger CRJ1000 aircraft. Four CRJ900 aircraft have been delivered to the airline. Bombardier's decision comes as the air carrier is facing an uncertain situation.

The development program for Bombardier's 100-seat CRJ1000 NextGen airliner continues to move ahead. The first CRJ1000 NextGen production aircraft (S/N 19001) has successfully completed its first flight at Mirabel and continues to fly from its test base of Wichita, Kansas. Moreover, the simulator for the CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft has been qualified to Interim Level C - a rating that confirms high-fidelity simulation data. The CRJ1000 NextGen jetliner program is well supported by a strong customer base and 49 firm orders.
