Tobin Shackelford Appointed To New Position At Field Aviation

Will Serve As Director, Special Mission USA

John Mactaggart, president and CEO of Field Aviation has appointed Tobin Shackelford to the position of Director of Special Mission USA, effective April 11, 2011.

Based in Seattle, WA, Shackelford will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that will increase the scope of Field Aviation's aircraft modification and conversion business; his primary focus will be governmental business within the United States. He will report directly to Mactaggart at Field Aviation's US head office in Cincinnati, OH.

Shackelford is particularly well suited for his new role with Field Aviation. He is a commercial pilot who has had extensive experience in all facets of aircraft management and operations; he has a strong background in military intelligence, and has established relationships with aircraft manufacturers, systems and sensor suppliers, as well as US Federal and State Government agencies. He joins Field Aviation from Raisbeck Engineering where he held the position of Director of Special Mission Sales.

Mactaggart says, "We are delighted to have someone with Tobin's credentials and experience join us. He will add immeasurably to our capabilities and will be an integral part of Field Aviation's expanded effort to increase its presence in this very competitive market segment within the United States."
